We would be remiss, to say the very least, if we did not recognize the 92nd anniversary of 1933’s New York release of RKO’s King Kong, a classic film fictionalization of the tragic adventures of Carl Denham and his “beast-god of Skull Island.”
It was and is, to say the very least, an epic production that did not veer incredibly far from the true story of “the Eighth Wonder of the World.”
Also, the milestone is as good a reason as any to restart the stalled (for many reasons to be explored in coming weeks) progress of the EIGHTH WONDER project. The century milestone, after all, is right around the corner.
